The 26 ft-long by 11 ft-wide machine house weighed approximately 30,000 lbs and served as the central refrigeration plant for the building’s walk-in coolers and freezers. The complete refrigeration system was designed, supplied, and installed by Parson Refrigeration (1985) Ltd., Ottawa.
